Los Angeles is definitely a favorite vacation spot for my husband and I. There’s just something about that west-coast lifestyle- the laid back vibes, sunny skies and glamorous aura that just cant be beat. In the past year, we have visited three times (even right after our wedding!) so I figured it was about time that I created a blog post showcasing some pictures from our most recent trip and sharing some of our favorite spots! You can also shop all of my looks here. Hope you guys enjoy and as always, do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Xx
Whenever we visit LA, we typically stay at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills mainly because it is affiliated with Starwood (they accept credit card points!) but we also happen to genuinely love it! The location cannot be beat- it is just a short drive away from all of the best shopping and dining including Rodeo Drive and The Grove. The rooms are super sleek and spacious (some even have a small outdoor terrace) and the rooftop pool deck is equipped with great music and private cabanas. They also have an amazing spa and fitness center. Although we usually eat out, dining includes Tres and Bazaar by Jose Andres. If you enjoy staying at a modern/trendy hotel, this is definitely the spot for you! Since it is not for everyone, some other hotels I would recommend are The Montage, The Peninsula, The Beverly Hills Hotel, Viceroy L’Ermitage and The Four Seasons. Shutters On The Beach is also a great hotel in Santa Monica.

Located on Robertson Boulevard, The Ivy is definitely a must when it comes to lunch spots. It is certainly one of our go-tos whenever we visit. Not only is the cottage-inspired décor absolutely adorable but also the food is amazing! It is known for celeb sightings so I would recommend sitting on the outdoor patio so you can catch all of the action (especially during lunchtime). Plus, if you are looking for a good insta-worthy spread, it will not disappoint! 😉
If there is one destination that I would say is an absolute MUST, it would be Nobu Malibu! It is truly a picturesque experience unlike any other- there is no doubt why this restaurant is known as one of the most beautiful in the world! Located right off the Pacific Ocean, the bar area, patio and dining room all have a breath-taking water view. Just like most hotspots, you might definitely spot celebrities here. Last time we visited we saw Kendall Jenner! The food is top notch as well. As an added bonus, the actual drive to the restaurant along the PCH is absolutely amazing. The scenery is so beautiful- it is definitely worth the trip!

This time around, we ate at three amazing restaurants- Mastro’s, Craig’s and Madeo, but below is a list of more spots that we love.
MASTRO’S: Although there is also a location in New York, this is hands down one of our favorite steakhouses so it is hard to resist (especially because of the famous butter cake!) The difference between the two restaurants is that the one in LA features the “penthouse” which is essentially the same menu as downstairs, but with a few key twists including the addition of sushi. There is also an amazing live DJ and sleek outdoor space so we always choose to sit up there whenever we visit! Just be sure to request “the penthouse” when you call to make a reservation.
CRAIG’S: If you are looking for great American cuisine, I would highly recommended this restaurant. Not only is the food delicious, but it is definitely a celeb hotspot (On our previous trip, we saw Jennifer Lopez!) The Old Hollywood charm of the décor certainly makes for a unique and cozy experience.
MADEO: This is my husbands all time favorite Italian restaurant! If you love a good pasta dish you cannot go wrong with this well- known old world spot.
SUR: If you are a Bravo fan like I am and watch either Vanderpump Rules or the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you will certainly appreciate this portion of my post! One night after dinner, we decided to visit SUR (one of Lisa Vanderpump’s many restaurants) and James, the DJ on Vanderpump Rules was actually there! We have visited a couple of times before, but have never seen any of the characters from the show so it was definitely a fun surprise! He couldn’t have been nicer and let me jump right into the DJ booth with him to take some pictures. As a side note, although we only went for drinks this time around, we have actually eaten at the restaurant before and the food is not bad! The restaurant is beautiful as well- it has multiple rooms, very chic décor and a huge lounge/bar area. There is also usually an adorable pink car parked right outside that is great for pictures but for some reason it wasn’t there when we visited this time. If you watch either of the shows, I would recommend checking it out whether its just for drinks or dinner.
